I seem to be all about sea creatures sometimes - collages about sea monsters, songs about fish, a band called Sharkweek, an octopus tattoo, my wife and I going gooey over photos of otters this morning, a surprise birthday present that's a portrait of us as octopus-human hybrids...

There is this bit on the back of my head where i can't for the life of me, accurately shave. so right now my hair looks like an awesome Mohawk, right until about an inch behind my ears. then its choppy stubble.. then its Mohawk again. i have three layers of hair-length. it looks shit.
its awesome.
mum hates it when i do this, because you can never cleanup all the hair. there's always enough to make the bathroom look slightly seedy afterwards.

Noone likes walking barefoot into the bathroom when the floor is wet and there are mysterious hair-clippings on the ground.
you don't know where they've been.
or more importantly, come from.

sigh.
